How can I make my practice time the most effective?
I have already written a lot on this subject. In the product (our course) which I present here, you will find very detailed descriptions of how you should arrange your classes for maximum results. Therefore, I will not repeat everything here, but just will remind you about the most important things from the point of view of setting your mind for classes.
No matter what a person does, to achieve maximum result, he has to do it with maximum efficiency. It means that he should possess a boundless goal-orientation, concentration, and dedication to the activity. Nothing should stand on the way to the set goal. Besides that, there should be no question of any compromises on quality.
What does it mean?
If you have low goal-orientation, you will always be losing your goal. Every next day, it will get more blurry in your mind, which will inevitably affect your mind set up and then your inspiration.
If you lack concentration, your mind will be somewhere far away during your studies, and this will also impact the details of your goal. It will also discourage you, and you will lose inspiration. After all, It will seem to you that you are playing for a long time already without getting the result you expected.
If you lack dedication, you will often postpone the amount of work planned for today, which is directly related to the expected result. You will tell yourself “enough for today”, thinking that it is better to get some rest than to continue polishing your technique. In other words, laziness and self-immolation are not the best advisors in such activities (actually in any activities).
If you decide that you can play with a certain technique or work on the specific exercise imperfectly and at the same time go through it quickly or with wrong articulation, with incorrect hands positioning, at a tempo that is not suitable for you etc., you will achieve close to nothing. Frankly speaking, you will achieve nothing at all.
There are great many things, that you should follow carefully, to get the maximum efficiency of your studies.
Dedicate yourself completely, and only then you will understand what you are capable of and what level you can reach.
